These are a metallic silver and a white on white version of the THORNBIRD wallpaper pattern. In these colorways, the thorny pattern actually looks sweet. Which do you like best?
How did just pouring paint on a building get to be so beautiful? I’m glad it was documented.
Monster Island in Williamsburg is being knocked over to build, who knows, another condo. To draw the “curtains” on the space, they spilled paint down the side of the building covering its famous murals. (Source)

Great news! We are going to have these chairs and more in just a couple of weeks. I’m so excited. I think they’re are my favorite purchase for this fall. Oh, and they’re really comfortable too! Soon to be available at www.michelevarian.com and our store:

This work studio makes me really happy. I wish I knew who it belonged to. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Of course, I like this room. It’s by Roman and Williams. We used to have a mountain goat, whom we named Bob hanging above Brad’s desk. Walking into the room, we always said, “Bobbb!” Kind of like the way everyone saya, “Norm” on Cheers when he walked into the bar.
We were very fond of Bob until he began attacking Brad’s desk and computer. Once after we put a Santa hat on him for Christmas he fell off the wall and dented Brad’s laptop. The second time, Brad’s computer was toast and so was Bob. We put him outside with a note saying that he was looking for a nice home and that his name was Bob. Is that you, Bob?

This is the best solution for a coffee table I’ve ever seen. Note: I HATE coffee tables, but recognize the need to have a place to put beverages, etc… Why do I hate them? They are usually too big and clunky looking. Because this is multiple surface heights and shapes, I find it a nice addition to the space. Plus, I really love rough hewn old wood.

This is the stage upon which I gave my high school graduation speech. I wish I could say it had been a more inspired speech, but unfortunately, I had been a little too busy pre-celebrating the end of high school.
When we graduated, they were still working on the renovations, so it wasn’t quite this grand.
