It’s been a long time since I could say, “I’m really loving pearls.” For ages I’ve associated them with pristine debutantes, but not these. These look as though they’ve just been plucked from an oyster and the sea, complete with a carbuncle like setting. @elledecor borrowed this Goth/Victorian Mermaid Candelabra from our store. We had to go on a special quest to find black candles to sell with it. It wouldn’t be nearly as striking without the candles being black too. As I type, I have my own sitting on the table beside me. I feel like a modern day Edgar Allen Poe with my computer and dark siren both casting a glow.

Thank you @elledecor for using so many pieces from Michele Varian in this beatuful spread. Even though, we don’t have a piece in every photo, we have something in most of them, which means the style of the photo shoot is very much my flavor. So, I posted the whole thing for everyone to enjoy and be inspired to go out and pick up your own copy. Just son’t drool on the pages. These dark images won’t hold up to much salivating.

These are a metallic silver and a white on white version of the THORNBIRD wallpaper pattern. In these colorways, the thorny pattern actually looks sweet. Which do you like best?

These are the metallic versions of the PLUME wallpaper. What’s not to love? I think I’m going to use the copper one in my bedroom. I think the feathers floating to the ground will be very serene and sleep inducing. Plus, our bedroom is very dark, so they’ll reflect a lot of light.

This is my PLUME pattern wallpaper in 2 versions with black backgrounds. I think the black on black in the THORNBIRD  pattern is still my favorite. 

So, here it is, finally, my new line of wallpapers. I’m very curious to hear which pattern you all like best. Let me know! This is THORNBIRD black on black.
