So, this is my second favorite find for Spring and it has just arrived: Copper “Loop” Pendant $680. The idea for this light is that the mechanics are exposed: the extra (lime cloth covered) cord hangs as a decorative element and the height can be easily adjusted.

More Wonky - Candlesticks. I can’t wait for these to arrive. The designer has  taken a classic shape, put it into a modern material and made it in graphic black or white. Way to go!

I can’t wait for a drunken dinner guest to suddenly jump up in concern that the candles are moving. I hope it’s not me. Ha!

Porcelain Pin-up Girl. Just a little naughty and with gold hair too! I had to buy her and her friends at #NYIGF. Coming to Michele Varian soon.

#NYIGF Finds: Candle holders made from vintage balusters from India. Recycling old pieces making them rustic and each one of a kind.

#NYIGF Find: Vintage school chair recovered in whip-stitched leather! Gorgeous, like an old baseball mitt. Yummy to touch and to sit in. Now you have a new/old chair for your desk, an old typewriter and scissors, no reason not to get to work and have fun at your desk. Wait till you see the tape dispenser that I found.

#NYIGF Finds: Check out these beautiful bone handle scissors from Belgium. Inspired to do some ornate paper-cutting? Perhaps something beyond snowflakes? I bought both, because I couldn’t choose between the black and white.

#NYIGF Vintage Finds: Gorgeous Old Ribbon Typewriters coming to our store soon! The biggest challenge? Finding typewriter ribbon to use in it. Note to self: Must find vintage typewriter ribbon source.
