It’s been a long time since I could say, “I’m really loving pearls.” For ages I’ve associated them with pristine debutantes, but not these. These look as though they’ve just been plucked from an oyster and the sea, complete with a carbuncle like setting. I’ve aslo discovered that I have a sick addiction to grey pearls, like the pair on the right.

Just In: Napoleonic Era Necklace #3. I don’t know which of these 3 to wear with my party frock.
Delphi Necklace $365 made of wing-shaped appliques linked together with jump rings. Each applique is beaded with gunmetal bugle beads, blush pearl beads, and rhinestones. Necklace is backed in gray suede. Center front applique measures 3-5/8” long x 2-1/4” wide.

Casablanca Necklace $340 made of beaded appliques connected together with jump rings. Each applique is beaded with metal tube beads and pronged rhinestone gems, and is backed in black leather. Center front applique measures 2” tall x 3-1/2” wide.

Alexandria Necklace $420 Appliques made of pronged rhinestones in various shapes, pewter and silver cut beads, gold cord, and gold metal wire embroidery, are connected together with multiple rows of pewter chains. Rows of draping chains cascade from center front. Appliques are backed in ivory leather. Hook and eye closure. Center front applique measures 3-1/4” tall x 6-1/4” long.
Just In: Brass Skeleton Bracelet. The casting on this piece is amazing and I love the way the skeleton’s hands are resting on it’s chest - so peaceful. I’ll have to check with the forensic team of Bones to find out if this is a male or female skeleton. But, either way, we’ve been selling them to men and women alike.
Iron & Gold Wedding Bands: It’s really great when we find out how a much customer loved their purchase from our store. It was by accident, because I stumbled upon this lovely blog post and immediately recognized the rings. This lovely couple remembered rings they had seen at our store from quite some time ago and when they decided to tie the knot, they hunted us down in our new location, described the rings to us and asked how quickly we could get them in their sizes. They wanted them quickly, because as soon as they came they were going to get married. Jeweler and lovely friend, Peg Fetter, stepped up to the plate and got them made lickety split. The rings are pieces of iron, which Peg salvages from the street after the street cleaner has come thru and bristles from their big brushes have broken off. She then wraps them in 14k gold making them the leasst precious “precious” peice of jewelry you could own. Click thru for more lovely picutres of this romantic wedding.
